Eed Care President Professor Senevirathna Banadara speaking at the scholarship cash grant award ceremony on 20 January 2023 highlighted the value of equal and uninterrupted access to education for all communities irrespective of their social class and ethnicity. He further stated that we strictly adhere to the Eed Care values and principles ensuring that education scholarship cash grants are provided without discrimination to all ethnic groups living in the area.

Taking practical actions towards these values and principles, Eed Care provided cash grants to five Sinahala, four Tamil and one Muslim students which shows that the Eed Care is not just proving cash grants but also bringing all community groups together to build social cohesion and harmony.

The Eed Care work towards connecting communities through education and empowerment in order to build a knowledgeable society. This we hope will empower them to stand on their feet and take decisions about their destiny without depending on external forces that are trying to exploit them for political advantage.
