Scholarships cash grants for students

Under the coordination and leadership of Mr. Niranjan Shrimantha Senadheera Divisional Secretary of the Divisional Secretariat Panwila and with the participation of Zonal Education Director Ms. Thranga Gunaratne as the chief guest, a small ceremony was held on 20 January 2023 at Divisional Secretariat office Panwila in #kandysrilanka to distribute #education scholarship cash grants to 10 vulnerable students who are affected by the current #EconomicCrisisLK. The students receive LKR 2500 per month for a period of one year to support their education.

The Eed Care Foundation in #kandysrilanka provided funding for the cash grants. The Eed Care President Prof. Senevirathna Bandara and other officials ( Ananda Uyanwatta , Edwin Edward Ragal Susil Perera) too participated in the event. Our special thanks to Ms. Harshi Dissanayake and staff of the Divisional Secretariat Panwila for selecting the eligible students and organizing the event.
